Spring is almost here! I, for one, can’t wait to get back in the garden and start planting this year's crops. Do you garden much and if so, what is your yearly go-to crop? What resources do you use each year when planning your garden?

One of the resources that we use is the Farmer’s Almanac, founded in 1792 by Robert B. Thomas, it’s North America’s most popular reference guide and the oldest continuously published periodical.

The almanac records and predicts astronomical events such as the rising and setting of the sun and moon, tides, weather, and other phenomena. Nothing is ever entirely and 100% accurate, but it’s close enough to be used as an unofficial garden Bible. What are your thoughts, have you ever used the Farmer’s Almanac?
